- To help students discern their calling and create a life of meaning and purpose whatever career they choose.
- To develop knowledge of the fundamentals of Catholic Scripture and Tradition, and what they say about God, humanity, the natural world, and virtuous living.
- To understand the study of religion as an interdisciplinary task, relating to the arts and humanities on the one hand, and the social sciences on the other.
