Interfaith Studies, Emphasis
Requirements
Complete 12 semester credit hours (four 3-semester-credit-hour courses), with a grade of “C” or better, plus a co-curricular course (0 semester credit hours). Completion of the emphasis also meets the requirements for Engaged Learning. The courses are distributed as follows:

INQ 1111 Interfaith Oral History Archives is a one-semester, 0 semester credit hour, P/F, Engaged Learning course requiring previous completion of (or co-enrollment in) either THEO 2235 Interreligious Dialogue or RELS 2285 Religion in United States. LCOM 1112 Catholic-Muslim Dialogue is a one-semester, 0 semester credit hour, P/F, Engaged Learning Course. Students will participate in a bi-weekly lunch dialogue to discuss current events and study scripture together.

Any credit completed for the certificate may also be applied to fulfill general education, major or minor requirements.
