Sociology, Minor
Requirements - Minor
The Sociology minor consists of a program of courses totaling at least 18 semester credit hours with a grade of “C” or better, including SOCL 1100 Principles of Sociology and 15 additional semester credit hours in Sociology, of which 6 semester credit hours must be at the 3000 level or higher. SOCL 2250 Basic and Applied Statistics, SOCL 4351 Research Methods in the Social Sciences and SOCL 4395 Senior Thesis may not be counted toward the minor.
Students who in the Sociology major or minor will achieve the following student learning outcomes (SLO):
