The Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship prepares students to launch, grow, and lead innovative ventures in today’s dynamic economy. This program emphasizes opportunity recognition, business model development, innovation strategy, and entrepreneurial leadership, while grounding students in core business disciplines such as finance, marketing, and management. Through applied learning experiences, students develop and refine business ideas, analyze market opportunities, and build sustainable, scalable ventures. The curriculum also explores social entrepreneurship, ethical decision-making, and the role of entrepreneurship in advancing the common good. Graduates are equipped to start their own businesses, lead innovation within existing organizations, or pursue careers in startups, family enterprises, and emerging industries.

CLEP, Work/Life Experience, internships, advanced placement, and other external credits may be substituted for major courses if approved by the department.
A student who obtains a major in Entrepreneurship may not earn an Entrepreneurship minor or the Applied Certificate in Entrepreneurship.
Students in the Bachelor of Business Administration program will achieve the following student learning outcomes (SLO):
Student Learning Outcome 1: Demonstrate proficiency in areas such as statistical and other mathematical techniques, data analysis, and quantitative modeling of business related information.
Student Learning Outcome 2: Demonstrate proficiency in areas such as complex problem solving skills, logical reasoning, and idea generation for making business related decisions.
Student Learning Outcome 3: Demonstrate proficiency in the functional areas of business, such as finance, accounting, marketing, operations, and human resources, as well as the capacity to synthesize and apply this functional knowledge.
Student Learning Outcome 4: Demonstrate proficiency in areas such as group dynamics, collaboration, interpersonal relations, and leading individuals, teams or organizations.
Student Learning Outcome 5: Demonstrate proficiency in written, oral, and/or visual communication formats.
