Transfer Credit
In order to qualify for transfer credit, the course must be an appropriate graduate-level course from an institution that has been granted candidacy status by a historically regional accrediting association, must have been taken within the last five years, and must have resulted in a grade of "B" or better. Requests for transfer credit shall be discussed and reviewed by the faculty, department chair and/or program director. Granting of transfer credit is a programmatic decision. Students must submit transcripts for departmental approval of transfer credit prior to the end of the first term after acceptance. Credit for nontraditional experiences, including military education, will be considered on a case by case basis for each veteran’s previous education and training based on the transcripts provided.
